The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that provides ‘Homes from Home’ at major paediatric hospitals in England, giving families from across the UK a place to stay close to their seriously ill child’s bedside.

For any parent, there’s nothing more important than being there when your child is sick, to help them get better. Every day, life for families across the country is thrown into absolute turmoil with the news that their child has been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness or has suffered life-changing injuries in a serious accident, and must be rushed to hospital for specialist treatment.

The Sick Children’s Trust supports families during this deeply traumatic time, by providing high-quality ‘Homes from Home’ at hospitals across the country where families can stay together, completely free of charge, and be there to support their child.

We currently support around 3,500 families per year, but our vision is a future where every family with a seriously ill child in hospital will be able to stay together, close to their child’s bedside.

We receive no government funding, so it’s your support that can bring this vision one step closer to becoming a reality.
