Registered Charity No: 258825 (England & Wales).
The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) drives change to the systems that keep children safe, secure and supported. Our mission is to build a better childhood for every child.
For 60 years, we have united the children’s sector and developed a unique understanding of the systems that support & surround children and young people. We’ve listened, learned and have built networks that bring practitioners, policymakers and organisations together to champion children’s voices across the UK.
To achieve our mission, we uncover evidence of greatest need for children, support parents & practitioners and influence legislation.
We showcase ‘what works’ by generating practical learning and insights, through research. We use this evidence to directly guide and support parents and practitioners. As a trusted convenor of the children’s sector, our unrivalled role allows us to shape legislation and pioneer new ways to integrate public services. NCB’s unique position allows us to drive systemic change, protect the most vulnerable & amplify the voices of children, young people and families across the UK: offering them hope for the future.
The challenges that babies, children, and young people face today are as deep and wide than ever. Very few charities can match our unrivalled expertise across children’s health, education, social care, disability, and early years. Yet donations remain incredibly scarce (and make up less than 1% of our income).
Leaving a gift in your will would therefore make a unique, lasting difference and a truly impactful legacy. Please contact Richard in our Fundraising team for more information at rscott@ncb.org.uk
Please help to build a better childhood for every child, for every generation. Thank you.
