Around 1 in 1000 babies in the UK are born deaf every year, with further young children deafened as a result of accident or illness, significantly impacting every aspect of their life.

Many of these children and their families are isolated from the urgent help that they need, but by leaving a legacy in your Will to The Elizabeth Foundation, the charity can continue to make a positive and lasting difference.

Since 1981 The Elizabeth Foundation has grown to become the UKs largest single provider of specialist educational support services for deaf babies, toddlers and preschool children and their families. Since then legacies have enabled the charity to develop and extend its family centre and hearing test centre, and vitally, to deliver a wide range of education and welfare support services (both face-to-face and online) to many thousands of children who are able to learn to listen and talk as a result of the charity’s outstanding work.

As demand for services continues to grow, leaving a gift in your Will is a truly effective way of helping the charity invest further in expert staff, technology and resources to help children and families across the UK and to maintain its facilities for future generations.

Every child will be given a firm foundation to start school and be included in the wider world, ready and able to learn and play alongside hearing friends and to grow into independent, confident and capable adults.
