Coram
At Coram we champion children’s rights and wellbeing, making lives better through legal support, advocacy, adoption, and our range of therapeutic, educational and cultural programmes. Through our work we understand better what works for children and young people, and we use that insight and experience to engage with government, local authorities, social workers, teachers, carers, and families – all those in a position to make a difference - to help deliver better practice, systems, and laws.
National Children’s Bureau
The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) drives change to the systems that keep children safe, secure and supported. Our mission is to build a better childhood for every child. For 60 years, we have united the children’s sector and developed a unique understanding of the systems that support & surround children and young people. We’ve listened, learned and have built networks that bring practitioners, policymakers and organisations together to champion children’s voices across the UK.
Safe Child Thailand
4 out of every 5 children living in orphanages in Thailand are not truly orphaned. Children across Thailand are frequently separated from their families as a result of poverty, trafficking, political instability and abuse. Safe Child Thailand is a registered UK charity working with families and communities across Thailand to ensure that children grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
St Christopher’s
When children and young people come to St Christopher’s, they’ve already been through so much. Some have experienced trauma and abuse. Others have grown up in chaos. Most have been let down by adults at some point. Sadly, their former experiences can mean they are disproportionately more likely to end up homeless, unemployed, or in the criminal justice system.
The Honeypot Children’s Charity
Honeypot is the UK’s National Charity for Young Carers, supporting children aged 5 - 12 who care for sick or disabled relatives. We provide vital services including respite breaks at our countryside Honeypot Houses, educational support, and wellbeing grants which give young carers a break from the stress and anxiety of caring for a sick loved one. Remember them in your Will and make a lasting impact on their futures.
