Personal injury services provider NAHL, which operates the National Accident Helpline brand, has moved in to conveyancing with the £4.3m acquisition of Fitzalan Partners, a lead-generation business.
Fitzalan, founded in 2011, uses proprietary systems to target home-buyers and sellers in England and Wales and offer lead-generation services to panel law firms and surveyors.
It claims to operate the full sales cycle on behalf of panel firms, providing them with confirmed instructions.
NAHL said the conveyancing market is highly fragmented and significant potential exists to develop new sources of business.
‘The acquisition offers NAHL the opportunity to extend its reach into the conveyancing market and utilise its competitive advantage and skill set from the PI market to take advantage of the significant growth opportunities already identified,’ Russell Atkinson, chief executive, said.
