If you enjoyed the London Legal Walk, now is your chance for a scenic replay. The London Legal Support Trust’s ‘Walk the Thames’ event takes place on Saturday 29 October. It’s a walk along the Thames footpath (also open to runners and cyclists – Thames Path rules permitting). Teams have the choice of a half marathon or full marathon course.

If that sounds too energetic, how about the Great London Legal Quiz , on Wednesday 9 November. ‘All you need to be part of this exciting national challenge is to organise a quiz in the office, down the pub or even at home in the same way as any other quiz night,’ the trust tells Obiter .
