The twentieth London Legal Walk - perhaps the world’s single biggest gathering of legal professionals - brought out the best in the capital’s weather, as well as its lawyers. The event, organised by the London Legal Support Trust to raise funds for legal advice services, had a record turnout: 18,500. Walkers had a choice of three 10-kilometre routes around London’s best known landmarks, followed by a street party in Carey Street.
Lead walkers included the lady chief justice, the master of the rolls, the president of the Law Society and the chair of the bar - who deserves a special mention for completing the route twice in the day.
