We are heartened to hear that Solicitors Journal, the oldest (and for many years the only) title aimed at your branch of the profession, is to be resurrected.
The magazine will reappear from January as a glossy monthly, following its acquisition by the publisher of Cambridge-based International In-house Counsel Journal.
SJ, founded in 1857, predates the Gazette by 46 years. We were sad to see it go when the last weekly issue rolled off Wilmington’s presses back in September 2017.
Competitor (of sorts) SJ may have been. But it would be churlish to begrudge a few beleaguered hacks like Obiter a job, at what is a tough time for all print media.
