Lewis silkin’s irish eyes

Top-100 firm Lewis Silkin has established a Dublin office with one eye on growing markets post-Brexit. Divisional managing partner James Davies said Ireland had become an important jurisdiction for employment and data privacy clients.

 

Manchester expansion

A Newcastle firm is marking its 40th anniversary by expanding into a new location in Manchester. Short Richardson & Forth will open the new office to cater for a growing client base and expects to create new commercial legal jobs.

 

Thousands to walk

This year’s London Legal Walk will take place on 21 May. Last year more than 12,000 people, most of them lawyers, walked to raise £800,000 for free legal advice services in London and the south-east. www.llst.org.uk
