Furley Page has appointed a talented newly qualified solicitor to its Private Client, Trusts and Estates team, which is regarded as a recognised practitioner by independent legal guide Chambers UK, and highly rated by The Legal 500.

Lucy Dickens has spent the last two years training with the firm, and now specialises in Lasting Powers of Attorney, Probate and Estate administration, Will drafting and Inheritance Tax Planning, Trust creation and administration, and Declarations of Trust.

Harvey Barrett, partner and head of Private Client, Trusts and Estates, says the decision to appoint Lucy reinforced Furley Page’s commitment to nourish promising young talent. ’Lucy is an impressive young lawyer and is an excellent addition to the team,’ he adds.

Lucy is a former pupil at Simon Langton Girls’ Grammar School in Canterbury, where she was head girl. She graduated with a law degree from the University of Reading in 2014, before attaining a Commendation on the Legal Practice Course at Kaplan Law School in London. Lucy qualified as a solicitor this autumn and is based at Furley Page’s head office in Canterbury.

Lucy’s hobbies include reading, swimming, baking, drawing and painting. She has also volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau, where she trained to become a general advisor. Lucy is a member of both Kent Law Society and Canterbury Young Professionals.
