Leave a gift in your will

We want to make sure that every child has the safe childhood they deserve. During our 130 year history we have helped bring about huge changes for children but we know that, in an ever-changing world, there are more challenges to come. And with the emergence of new technologies and different social pressures, our work remains more crucial than ever. We may not know exactly what the future holds, but we do know that the NSPCC will need to be there to protect tomorrow’s children. Because one sixth of our donations come from gifts in wills, you could really make a vital difference to children’s lives.

Volunteer for ChildLine

A child contacts ChildLine every 25 seconds. They talk to us about things like bullying, self-harm and depression. Problems that children often feel they can’t talk to anyone else about.

Becoming a ChildLine volunteer means being there when a child needs you the most. Just 4 hours out of your week can help thousands of children and young people. Sometimes all they need is someone like you who has the time to listen.

Be a voice for children

We speak up for children. So if a law needs to change, or if more needs to be done to protect children, we demand it. And we’d love you to add your voice. 50,000 people signed our Flaw in the Law petition, which we launched in 2014. As a result, it is now a criminal offence for an adult to send a sexual message to a child.

Look out for our latest campaigns, and join in by adding your name to our petitions or contacting your local MP. You really can make a difference.
