Brain Tumour Research

British Dyslexia Association
The BDA is the largest dyslexia charity in the UK. Dyslexia affects more than 1 in 10 people. It is a hidden and life-long disability that can have huge implications -but it remains poorly understood. We work tirelessly to promote a dyslexia-friendly society that gives dyslexic people of all ages the opportunity to flourish.
Open Spaces Society
As Britain’s oldest national conservation body, we protect and preserve commons, public paths, and green spaces. At the Open Spaces Society, we have campaigned to protect commons, greens, and paths for more nearly 160 years. All these are under threat in various ways including from neglect, illegal obstructions and the pressure of new developments. Any gift in wills, large or small, makes a vital difference and enables us to defend the places and paths which are some of our nation’s finest assets.
AAIR Charity - Asthma, Allergy and Inflammation Research
The rates of asthma and allergic diseases and respiratory conditions have increased alarmingly during the past two decades – with almost half of all British children now expected to suffer from conditions such as asthma, eczema, food allergies and hay fever at some time. The AAIR Charity works tirelessly to help fund vital research into the causes of these and other respiratory conditions.
Abby’s Heroes
Abby’s Heroes supports children, teenagers and young adults from across the South of England when diagnosed with cancer, together with their families. We follow a family’s journey from diagnosis, through their therapy regime, completing their treatment plan, relapse and sadly if their child needs palliative care. Offering emergency grants for either financial or practical reasons, we are able to give families breathing space to concentrate on their children, when the financial impact of childhood cancer affects a family.
Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals
The Anglican Society for the Welfare of Animals was formed in 1970 by a group of clergy and lay Christians who felt very strongly that the Church did not speak out on the subject of animal cruelty and suffering. Our mission is therefore to ‘put animals on the agenda of the Christian church’.

CBM – Global Disability Inclusion
For over 100 years, CBM has been supporting communities to become more inclusive for people with disabilities in the world’s poorest places. Driven by Christian values and working alongside local partners, we fight to break the cycle of poverty and disability by funding sight-saving cataract surgeries, supplying equipment and medication.
Cat Action Trust
Cat Action Trust was established in 1975, as the UK pioneer in promoting the welfare of feral cats. We were from the outset committed to caring not culling and were among the first to use the humane trap, neuter, return (TNR) method of managing feral cat colonies. Over the years we have broadened our voluntary work to include assisting lost, homeless or abandoned domestic cats.
