I did LSF. Horrendous memory test, which still gives me the heebie jeebies. Was it not 10 exams in 10 subjects in 6 days?

Son 1 did LPC a couple of years ago and, although rigorous and challenging, he found that if you stick at it you will get through.

Son 2 did SQE1 in July and found it horrendous, but passed. He reflected that the best thing he did was drilling literally hundreds of past or sample questions and properly reflecting on those he got wrong, and why. Also, doing it in exam conditions to replicate what is a bit of an endurance test.

He found that there were loads of instances where you had to know whether the law said "must" or "may", or similar subtle differences. It tries to catch you out on stuff like that.

Daughter is sensible and doesn't want to be a lawyer.
