Dr Anna Kwartz MSc PhD DipTP(IP) MCOptom
Dr Kwartz is an optometrist with extensive medico-legal experience and comments on cases where ocular pathology has not been detected by primary care (high street) optometrists.
She currently works in both primary and secondary care settings and is an Independent Prescriber.
Dr Kwartz has written over 400 medico-legal reports and has been instructed by both claimant and defendant solicitors.
She regularly writes reports on cases involving glaucoma, macular disease, retinal detachment, ocular malignancy, contact lens problems, keratitis, neurological conditions and management of paediatric cases. She also undertakes regulatory work and has given evidence many times in General Optical Council Fitness to Practice Hearings. She has a reputation for clear and thorough reports with a rapid turnaround.
