Registered Charity No: 1098874 (England & Wales).
Our local air ambulances; Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance fly every day of the year, helping to save more lives. Our critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots fly an average of six missions a day, over an area of 3,850 square miles and a population of over 3.2million. Within minutes they can be on the ground delivering lifesaving care at road traffic collisions, sports events, and industrial accidents, or for medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest and stroke.
1 in 7 of our rescue missions are funded by gifts left to us in Wills, so we are enormously grateful for these donations. We will ensure that your donation will be used for the greatest impact and we can also offer you a choice of how and where your gift is used. Just 1% of an estate will keep us flying and saving lives, every day.
Each rescue mission costs £1,700 and we rely entirely on donations, as we receive no government funding.
The Air Ambulance Service is the umbrella organisation which covers our local air ambulance services; Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance and Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance, and our national inter-hospital transfer service dedicated to critically ill children, the Children’s Air Ambulance.
