When children and young people come to St Christopher’s, they’ve already been through so much. Some have experienced trauma and abuse. Others have grown up in chaos. Most have been let down by adults at some point. Sadly, their former experiences can mean they are disproportionately more likely to end up homeless, unemployed, or in the criminal justice system.

But at St Christopher’s, we believe that every young person has the potential to thrive, irrespective of their past. We believe in their talents, dreams, and aspirations, and we support them in building themselves a brighter future.

For over 150 years, we’ve been at the forefront of supporting young people, helping them survive and thrive. Our services include quality children’s homes, supported accommodation, and fostering. We actively seek the input of young people to tailor our services to their unique needs.

Without action and support, the number of children and young people leaving care with insufficient skills to flourish in adulthood will continue to rise. With the pressure mounting on local authorities, more disadvantaged young people will be at risk. Your support is crucial in preventing this.

By remembering St Christopher’s in your will, you can change children and young people’s lives for generations to come.

You could help us ensure future generations of children and young people in our care are safe, loved and happy, able to achieve their potential and have a bright future.
