Rescuing the most abused and neglected animals from the most deprived areas of our Capital City

All creatures deserve enough to eat and drink and a safe place to live and thrive, but sadly that is not the reality for many animals in London. Through our 365 days a year community outreach programme, our Animal Welfare Officers specialise in reaching the most vulnerable and at-risk animals and finding a safe future for them. It is the most difficult area of animal welfare which most charities are not geared up to, but we do not shy away from the challenge, taking in over 1,200 animals a year.

We operate two animal shelters, which are always full to bursting with cats needing our help. Our staff are experts in safely and gently handing terrified animals that no longer trust humans, offering a safe and calm environment for our little furry patients to recover.

Our resources have never been more needed than right now - following the pandemic and the cost-of-living crisis, we are seeing more animals being given up or dumped than ever before which is stretching our financial resources to a critical point.

We are a separately registered charity to the main RSPCA, working across the most disadvantaged areas of London and we rely on the generosity of our supporters and animal lovers to keep up our endless fight against animal cruelty and neglect.

Legacies provide a lifeline of funding to keep our operation working flat out to make the streets of London a safer place for all creatures. Please support the most desperate of animals by remembering the RSPCA Central London Branch (Charity number 248489) in your Will.
