Registered Charity No: 220239 (England & Wales).
At National Star we have kept our promise to support young people with complex disabilities for over 50 years. A promise to do all we can to help them achieve their aspirations and potential, and develop their independence.
Every year we work with more than 1,600 people across England and Wales through a wide range of services, including specialist education, long–term accommodation and work–based training.
The demand for our specialist support is growing. More premature babies are surviving birth and more children and young adults are surviving major illness and accidents, but living with increasingly complex and profound disabilities. Innovations in assistive technology mean that more young people with complex disabilities are able to communicate and to access learning opportunities.
What young people learn and achieve during their time at National Star is life-changing for them and their families. Legacies have provided equipment to support therapy programmes and enabled us to build adapted living spaces so that young people can be prepared for adulthood and live as independently as possible.
By leaving a gift in your Will to National Star you can help us keep our promise to future generations of young people with complex disabilities. The promise that we will be there for them in the future, that we will be there for them when they need us most. That they will have a chance to realise their aspirations and make the most of their abilities.
