The British Skin Foundation (BSF) is the only UK charity raising money to fund research into all types of skin disease and skin cancer.

Skin disease comes in many forms, spanning from relatively manageable conditions like eczema, acne, psoriasis and rosacea, through to others which can be deadly (melanoma skin cancer & chronic, non-healing wounds or ulcers). 2-in-3 Brits have suffered with skin conditions; the devastating impact of which is often felt both physically and emotionally too. We are here to help change that.

Since 1996 the British Skin Foundation has proudly led the fight against skin disease, raising over £19,500,000 for high-quality research in UK hospitals and universities throughout the UK.

Although the skin is our body’s largest organ, skin disease research is greatly underfunded in the UK. All too often, our vital cause is neglected for charitable giving; however, thanks to gifts left in wills and donations from our dedicated supporters, the future of our vital UK skin research can continue.
