Animal Defenders International (ADI) works worldwide to protect animals and the environment. Our investigations of wildlife trafficking, animals in circuses, animal experimentation and more drive awareness, education, legislation, and prosecutions.  

ADI offers practical solutions, like advanced techniques to replace animals in research, and support for governments enforcing animal protection laws, such as bans on animal circuses – in Bolivia, Colombia, Peru and Guatemala, ADI tracked down and rescued every circus animal including bears, monkeys, lions, and tigers. Many of these lions and tigers now enjoy natural habitats at the ADI Wildlife Sanctuary, South Africa and we have supported sanctuaries in Latin America, USA and Europe.
