The Bumblebee Conservation Trust was established because of serious concerns about the ‘plight of the bumblebee’. In the last 80 years our bumblebee populations have crashed. Two species have become nationally extinct and several others have declined dramatically. Bumblebees are familiar and much-loved insects that pollinate our crops and wildflowers, so people are rightly worried. We have a vision of a world where bumblebees are thriving and valued and our mission is to increase their number and distribution.
A growing number of committed supporters are helping our small team of staff make a big difference.
Remembering the Bumblebee Conservation Trust in your Will is a special way to support the future of Britain’s bumblebees. Leaving a legacy gift will enable us to continue our work to protect bumblebees for generations to come.
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust cannot provide legal advice. We recommend that you talk to your solicitor who will be able to help you with every aspect of leaving a gift in your Will. If you already have a Will and wish to leave a gift to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, this is a simple process and can be done by writing a codicil. We recommend you speak to your solicitor before making or updating your Will.
