Abby’s Heroes
Abby’s Heroes supports children, teenagers and young adults from across the South of England when diagnosed with cancer, together with their families. We follow a family’s journey from diagnosis, through their therapy regime, completing their treatment plan, relapse and sadly if their child needs palliative care. Offering emergency grants for either financial or practical reasons, we are able to give families breathing space to concentrate on their children, when the financial impact of childhood cancer affects a family.
Barnardo’s
We’re here to help make sure children and young people feel safer, happier, healthier and more hopeful. Last year, we reached 356,200 children, young people, parents and carers through 760 services and partnerships across the UK. We change lives in so many ways, whether it’s supporting young people in and leaving care, providing counselling for children who’ve experienced abuse, or campaigning to change the way the system works for the better, we’re here every step of the way.
Coram
At Coram we champion children’s rights and wellbeing, making lives better through legal support, advocacy, adoption, and our range of therapeutic, educational and cultural programmes. Through our work we understand better what works for children and young people, and we use that insight and experience to engage with government, local authorities, social workers, teachers, carers, and families – all those in a position to make a difference - to help deliver better practice, systems, and laws.

Momentum Children’s Charity
Momentum Children’s Charity supports families whose children are diagnosed with cancer or other life-challenging conditions. Partnering with 9 hospitals across London, Surrey, and Sussex, our Family Support Workers provide vital emotional and practical support to over 2,000 people each year through counselling, creative therapy, respite breaks, or just providing a listening ear.
National Children’s Bureau
The National Children’s Bureau (NCB) drives change to the systems that keep children safe, secure and supported. Our mission is to build a better childhood for every child. For 60 years, we have united the children’s sector and developed a unique understanding of the systems that support & surround children and young people. We’ve listened, learned and have built networks that bring practitioners, policymakers and organisations together to champion children’s voices across the UK.

Skylarks Charity
Leaving a gift in your will to Skylarks will have a lasting impact on children and young people with disabilities and additional needs. Founded 18 years ago, Skylarks relies on donations to empower children while supporting their families. Each year, Skylarks supports thousands of families, offering essential therapies, inclusive activities, vital support and ‘Special Education Needs & Disability’ advice.
St Christopher’s
When children and young people come to St Christopher’s, they’ve already been through so much. Some have experienced trauma and abuse. Others have grown up in chaos. Most have been let down by adults at some point. Sadly, their former experiences can mean they are disproportionately more likely to end up homeless, unemployed, or in the criminal justice system.
