And so the government's relentless drive towards denying access to justice continues apace. The effect of these changes, far from enabling access to Justice, will stifle it even further. Expect earlier denials of liability from the NHSLA, and/ their solicitors, in cases of modest value, but which nonetheless have had a significant impact on victims/their families, regardless of how reasonable the claim, knowing there is nothing the victim/his/her family can do about it.

Knock on effect? health care providers being less open about their mistakes, in the knowledge that they will not be bought to book for their blunders, and health care standards plummeting for the same reason.
