They did 'price up' the no fault scheme as they have in New Zealand. It's more expensive, in the short term. Making us prove it on the balance of probabilities puts off most sane people which is what keeps the costs lower than a no fault system. The barbaric adversarial system is the modus operandi for enslaved populations to busy earning their council tax to question the logic of it all.

The medical and accountancy professions, and the legal profession, I mean business :) , should adopt the Aviation style of reporting untoward events. That's the only way change and improvement really come about. The NZ system allows for that.

"Cheapest" is not the best but it is the model which the UK/western world consumer has bought into. They are just not educated enough to realize it's not sustainable. It's inherently broken.
