Ahahahaha - whats the Bar worried about - less and less work coming thier way from Immigration Solicitors (many of whom) have woken up to the 'fact' that you don't need to have a Bar qualification to do Advocacy per se. Also Immigration Solicitors are beggining to realise what 'poor' value many Chambers are. Many now expect Immigration Solicitors to do thier work for them such as detailed skeleton arguments, citation of case-law & submissions & all they have to do is go in front of a Judge and read it out. Also with direct access - seems someone wants a portion of the 'pie' that did not traditionally belong to them.
