Thank you for your article and for taking the trouble to think and write about loneliness, which I am sure is very debilitating and depressing for many. We are often so busy that we don't give a thought to people in this position, even if we have felt lonely at some point ourselves for even a short time.
Perhaps the issue is here is choice. If you can choose to be either busy or alone, then that is a good thing. If either is foisted upon you, that's not so good.
