It isn't just the present government that has neglected legal services and the courts as a whole, this is the result of several governments lack of investment. However, only this government has, for example, been so vehemently anti-lawyer as to quote Joseph Stalin at the Tory conference by describing our profession as "enemies of the people" amongst other hateful expressions. A strike was an inevitability. I fear that worse is yet to come.
