I too can relate to this. Being a partner in a small firm and having two school aged children I have had to sacrifice sleep, normal family relations (and almost my sanity) in order to just get through the working week and weekends - going part-time just isn't an option. Yes working parents and especially those with businesses to run and staff to employ have been completely overlooked. No holiday clubs running now either... it's going to be a long summer holiday. Thank goodness for iPads...!
