What troubles me about all of this is the chief of SFO saying that the standard of proof needs to be lowered to give her a better chance of getting convictions. Perhaps the same should be applied to all criminal cases? Where does one draw the line? Or perhaps we could have a really low standard of proof for decisions reached when getting rid of chiefs of SFO? Now that would be a change for the better.
