A Gloucestershire firm has strengthened its foothold in the residential property market by absorbing a conveyancing practice. Gwyn James Solicitors, which has offices across the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean, has merged with Dean Conveyancing, also based in the region.
The Dean Conveyancing team will join the residential property team based at the Gwyn James head office in Coleford and will trade under the name of Gwyn James Solicitors.
Ros Yemm, who has been at the helm of Dean Conveyancing since she set up the firm in 2002, will also join Gwyn James along with her existing clients, who Gwyn James said can now benefit from having ‘a much more comprehensive range of services available to them’.
Senior partner at Gwyn James Solicitors Deborah Feltham said: ‘We are thrilled to welcome Ros and her team into the Gwyn James family. With the landscape for the provision of legal services changing at a rapid pace, this merger further strengthens our Residential Property team and enables us to provide an enhanced level of support to our clients and reinforces our dedication to serving our local community.’
Yemm added: ‘The merger will ensure that we will all continue to provide the high level of friendly professional service that our clients expect.’
Gwyn James Solicitors has four offices across the Forest of Dean, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire. Its head office is in Coleford, with other offices in Cinderford, Ross on Wye and Monmouth.
