International firm DAC Beachcroft has confirmed it is exploring 'all options' including the sale of a major part of its business employing over 1,000 people.
It has been reported that DAC Beachcroft is selling Claims Solutions Group, which the firm describes as 'the market-leading claims law firm' that provides specialist services to insurers and corporate clients, and is in talks with private equity Limerston Capital.
DAC Beachcroft neither confirmed nor denied the reports.
A spokesperson said: ‘Following an in-depth strategic review of our business, we have decided to explore all our options to enhance the long-term investment into our Claims Solutions Group. CSG continues to operate in a very dynamic market and we are constantly assessing those markets and adapting our strategy to ensure that we are able to invest in the future of CSG in a way that enhances CSG’s overall offering and benefits our clients.’
DAC Beachcroft’s Claims Solutions Group employs over 1,000 people and operates from 12 locations across the UK and Ireland.
It won the ‘defendant law firm of the year’ category at the British Claims Awards in 2018.
