In its first major announcement since its parent company hit business problems last year, Co-operative Legal Services (CLS) today announced a partnership with a top-15 volume conveyancer.
CLS, which had offered conveyancing services before being licensed as an alternative business structure in 2012, said it had struck a deal with Total Conveyancing Services (TCS), founded in 2006.
Matt Howells (pictured), CLS’s chief executive, said: ‘TCS has an in-depth understanding of the conveyancing market and I am confident that working with them will allow us to broaden our offering for customers and members, and will increase capacity of our service.’
Sarah Ryan, managing director of TCS, stated: ‘We are committed to enhancing our product offering through innovation and investment and I am confident that our service and products will align to the needs of CLS’ customers and members.’
CLS said it would offer a 5% discount on its advertised standard conveyancing service fees (excluding disbursements) to mark the deal.
