Tributes have been paid to a ‘highly talented’ City partner, who died earlier this month at the age of 40.
Richard Diffenthal was a partner at Hogan Lovells’ London office, advising clients in sectors such as technology, media, FinTech and digital health. He died of natural causes in early May.
A spokesperson from Hogan Lovells said: ‘We are deeply saddened by the loss of Richard Diffenthal. He was a great colleague as well as being a friend to many in our UK offices and across our global M&A practice, having joined the firm 17 years ago as a trainee.
‘He was a highly talented transactions lawyer and a much loved leader of our UK team. We are deeply shocked by this tragic news and our thoughts are with his family at this time.’
