East Anglia firm Attwells has issued a touching tribute following the death of much-loved colleague Joe Harrison:
'In May, Joe lost his battle with leukaemia after a long and courageous fight surrounded by his family.
'Managing partner Nick Attwell had the privilege to work side by side with Joe in the commercial team for almost 10 years. Joe was a senior solicitor with us and an absolute expert in his discipline. What Joe didn’t know about commercial work was not worth knowing, and he was a fountain of knowledge for all of his colleagues. He was very proud of what he knew and of his appointment as senior lawyer. Joe also had an excellent eye for detail, and he loved a long, detailed email.
'Joe was a Tractor Boy, and he brought the same level of detailed knowledge to his beloved Ipswich as he did to his work. Joe loved his football and his tennis and he loved nothing better than to catch up with his colleagues on what was going on with ITFC.
'He was also a fighter, determined to try anything, however tough on him, to beat his illness. He showed great courage and resilience.’
