Best idea for musical based on unlikely legal topic will win two tickets to The Scottsboro Boys.
Following a sold-out run at the Young Vic, acclaimed musical The Scottsboro Boys has transferred to the Garrick Theatre, London, for a limited season. The musical brings to life the true story of nine teenagers sentenced to death in a historic miscarriage of justice in a case that changed US legal history.
Winner of the Critics’ Circle Best Musical Award 2013 and nominated for six Olivier Awards, this is also the final collaboration of legendary composing duo Kander and Ebb (Chicago, Cabaret) and is directed and choreographed by TONY Award-winner Susan Stroman (The Producers).
Obiter has a pair of tickets* for the reader who can come up with a title of a musical based on an unlikely legal topic, and perhaps a brief plot treatment. Email Obiter@lawsociety.org.uk or tweet @ObiterGazette by 6 October.
*For selected weekday performances in October, usual terms and conditions apply.
