A big congratulations to Joanna Gosling who, after parting ways with the BBC following a 23-tenure as news chief anchor, will be joining Irwin Mitchell as a senior associate and mediator in the family team.
Former broadcaster Gosling is also a journalist and writer and currently a presenter on Classic FM (who says there isn’t enough time in a day?).
The announcement describes Gosling as a qualified mediator adding that the former news presenter, who left the BBC in January this year, ‘now helps couples navigate and resolve disputes out-of-court as a professional mediator’.
Obiter imagines her years in the newsroom will have given her plenty of the skills she will need in her new role.
Gosling, who will continue to present her radio show on Sunday afternoons, said: ‘I am delighted to be joining Irwin Mitchell as a mediator and as an advocate for mediation.
‘I am passionate about helping people find a way through conflict, and to be able to do this work as part of the brilliant and caring family team at Irwin Mitchell, is a dream come true for me.’
