This week marks 11 months since the UK first went into lockdown, as the country was gripped by the coronavirus pandemic.
It will also, presumably, mark 11 months in a job for anyone unfortunate enough to have started just as the nation (and their new workplace) was shut down. There will be lawyers out there who have never even seen colleagues in the flesh, let alone had a drink with them.
If you are in that boat, we would love to hear how you adjusted to new surroundings without actually being in new surroundings. How has it been to have an entirely remote new job, and how did your firm make sure you felt part of the team? We’ll put together the best stories to mark the anniversary of the pandemic, so get in touch if you have had this most unique of experiences. john.hyde@lawsociety.org.uk.
