There is more than a little magic and imagination at work around this year’s Law Society Art Group exhibition. One of the Law Society’s oldest active groups, its annual show of members’ work returns to Lauderdale House, Highgate, north London.
A look at the catalogue reveals paintings like Ruth Munby’s vibrant ‘Holland Park – reimagined’, a startling and vivid ‘Cornwall’ by Linda Zelin, and works with flowers attached, by chair Maria Memoli. A ‘Devon Cove’ is refreshed with a bright cubist treatment by Gwyneth Macaulay.
The exhibition runs from 30 April till 26 May. (Check Lauderdale House for opening times.) The Gazette will pay a visit tomorrow (30 April) to review the work, and there is a private view, to which all are welcome in the evening from 7.30pm (see Gallery - Law Society Art Group).
