The London Legal Support Trust (LLST) is overjoyed to be welcoming over 8,500 walkers to the streets of central London again today. The long awaited 2021 London Legal Walk, fundraises for frontline free legal advice agencies in London and the South East and these charities need additional funding now more than ever due to the extreme hardship and disruption brought on by the pandemic.

Some 680 teams from across the profession will be taking on a 10km route to walk or run in central London - or closer to their home if unable to make it to the event, starting and finishing, at Carey Street and closing with a street party.

Look out for Team Gazette, who will be jogging (or in some cases, shuffling) around the course from 4pm.

Nezahat Cihan, chief executive of the London Legal Support Trust, said, 'The funds raised by the London Legal Walk are an essential lifeline to many of the agencies we support. Over 100 legal advice agencies have closed since the pandemic and we are constantly striving to help prevent any more closures and cuts in services. Thank you to everyone who is joining us at the London Legal Walk – we hope you enjoy it!'
