Firm festival keeps singing in the rain

The law firm summer party may have been watered down in recent years, with firms restricting spending or perhaps wary of encouraging staff to overdo the Aperol Spritz.

So Obiter was delighted to see Fletchers go all out this year by putting on its very own festival for staff.

The inaugural FletchFest was held in the beautiful surroundings of Orrell Hill Woods near Formby, with all the trappings of a festival – local food vendors, a fully loaded bar, live music, glitter and bongos.

In the true traditions of the British festival, it also rained – but that was not enough to dampen spirits.

And this is no one-off - the private equity-backed firm has already pledged to outdo this year’s effort in 2024.
