Birmingham lawyers are on stage this Friday, bringing acclaimed play The Exonerated to the Birmingham Rep for one night only in a rehearsed reading. Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen’s play, produced by Jason M Hadden together with the Birmingham Law Society, tells the true stories of six people who had been wrongfully convicted, placed on death row in the US, and later exonerated and freed. The cast includes Birmingham judges, solicitors and barristers, with proceeds going to the Prince’s Trust. Tickets (£15) are available from Birmingham Law Society.
