After this year’s London Legal Walk shattered the £1m fundraising mark for the first time in its 20-year history, the London Legal Support Trust is now inviting lawyers to sign up for the ‘fluffiest’ fundraiser in the legal calendar: the London Legal Walkies.
LLST said a pack of 14 pups have already signed up to walk 5km at Greenwich Park on Sunday 15 September.
They include ‘Dachshund duo’ Eddie and Daphne, who are returning to lead the pack. Luna the Doberman is apparently looking forward to her first legal walk and ‘some tail-wagging fun’.
Finn is ‘ready to put his best paw forward in support of access to justice’. Marley the Labrador ‘can’t wait to take on the 5k in Greenwich Park for justice and jump in muddy puddles with his furry friends’.
LLST reckons Legal Walkies newbie Cobie will be a ‘FURbulous’ addition (groan). Heidi apparently loved the walk so much last year she’s ‘ready to lend her paws to the cause’.
‘Whether you’re an avid walker or just looking for a delightful way to spend a Sunday morning with your dog, this event is perfect for everyone,’ said LLST. ‘It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow supporters, enjoy the beautiful park, and make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.’
