Magic circle firm Slaughter and May has appointed eight new partners, including six in its London office.
The firm announced today that Richard Hilton (corporate and M&A), Kevin Howes (financing), Charles Osborne (tax), Megan Sandler (disputes and investigations) and Chris Sharpe (pensions, employment and incentives) will become partners from May.
Jonathan Slade, a competition specialist, has also been appointed as a partner in London but will be joining Slaughter and May’s Brussels office later this year.
Justin Chan and Vincent Chan, both corporate and M&A lawyers, will also become partners in the firm’s Hong Kong office later this year.
Slaughter and May’s senior partner Steve Cooke said: ‘We are really pleased to announce the election of these new partners. Each has already established a strong track record of providing excellent advice to our clients and will make an important contribution to the continuing growth of our business.’
The firm last year appointed its first managing partner as part of a major boardroom shake-up, with Deborah Finkler due to take up the role at the start of May.
