Irwin Mitchell has become the latest UK firm to open offices in Spain, launching its first overseas branches in Marbella and Madrid. Irwin Mitchell Abogados will provide services ranging from corporate to private client work and conveyancing to UK and Spanish nationals. The Spanish offices are headed by personal injury specialist José Maria de Lorenzo, a partner at the firm since 2003. Mr de Lorenzo's team is made up of four dual qualified lawyers. Meanwhile, City firm DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has almost doubled the size of its Madrid office by taking a team of ten partners and 15 associates from the local arm of US firm Squire Saunders & Dempsey.
