IBA president Jaime Carey said: 'Michael Reynolds was a truly exceptional individual. A towering figure in the legal profession who not only left an indelible mark on the field of antitrust law but also demonstrated an unwavering commitment to upholding the rule of law and the principles of justice. He championed these ideals with passion and integrity during his tenure as President of the IBA, where he will be remembered as one of its finest leaders.

'Michael was a caring person who, as IBA president, said that during his tenure he would look at the ways of how the lives of the underprivileged are being destabilised and will focus on ways to enhance or preserve their access to justice; and to protect them from exploitation and trafficking.

'Michael’s legacy will continue to inspire us, serving as a testament to his profound impact on both the legal profession and the lives of those who loved and worked alongside him. He will be missed and dearly remembered.'
