Global expansion has seen international firm Holman Fenwick Willan secure revenue of £112.5m for the last year.

The figure represents a 6% increase on a comparative 12-month period for 2009/10, with revenue from offices outside of London up by 45%.

That jump follows the opening of a base in Geneva in the past year, and the recent hiring of eight aviation and aerospace partners from City firm Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, along with the imminent opening of an office in Perth, Australia.

Over the last two years, the firm has made structural changes including conversion to LLP status in 2009 and bringing forward the end of the financial year by a month in 2010.

Senior partner Richard Crump said: ‘We continue to see opportunities for international growth and recent developments in our business reflect entirely our strategy of investing in core sectors of focus on an international basis.

‘Our offices outside of London are contributing an increasing proportion of our global revenue, this year at 45%, and we see that trend continuing.’

The firm now employs 375 lawyers operating in 12 countries.
