International firm FieldFisher has announced a rise in profit per equity partner (PEP) and annual revenue. According to figures for the year ending 30 April 2019, the firm reported a rise of 7% in PEP to £805,000. The figure has nearly doubled since 2014.
It also announced a 17% increase in annual revenue to £242m. Financial services was the best performing sector group, enjoying a 14% rise in revenue to £31m.
The firm attributes its growth to lateral partner hires and new offices in Barcelona, Frankfurt, Guangzhou, Luxembourg and Madrid.
Managing partner Michael Chissick said: ‘Our core international strategy is now complete and this year we are consolidating and also integrating our newest offices including Dublin which opened in May.’
Finance director Mike Giles added: ‘It has been a very, very strong year for the firm, but we are not becoming a total sweatshop to increase PEP numbers.’
