International firm Eversheds Sutherland has promoted 19 UK-based lawyers to partner in addition to a dozen promotions across its offices worldwide.
The firm said 65% of its 31 new partners, whose promotions take effect at the start of next month, are female.
Seven of the new partners work in Eversheds’ London office while 12 are based in the firm’s other offices in the UK. Four new partners will be promoted in Cardiff, with three in Nottingham, two in Manchester, and one in each of the firm’s offices in Birmingham, Cambridge and Leeds.
Eversheds has also promoted 17 lawyers to the role of legal director; 13 are based in the UK.
Chief executive Lee Ranson said: ‘This talented group are all rising stars in their respective fields, and their promotions recognise their technical expertise, deep sector knowledge and their outstanding commitment to client service. I am particularly pleased to see such a strong cohort of female talent stepping forward into senior roles.
