The Law Society has published guidance for revised conveyancing forms for local authority enquiries, which go live on 4 July.
Key changes to the CON 29 forms include new enquiries on the community infrastructure levy and assets of community value. CON 29O form changes include new enquiries on flood defence and land drainage consents. The public rights of way enquiry will shift from CON 29O to CON 29.
The Society’s notes have been issued in consultation with Land Data, the Local Land Charges Institute and the Local Government Association to provide guidance to local authorities in replying to CON 29 and CON 29O enquiries of local authorities. They are also intended to provide guidance when interpreting replies.
