The Co-operative has launched a high-profile campaign to promote its legal services to the 17 million weekly shoppers in its food stores.
The campaign, which includes in-store radio, till screen displays and door-to-door leafleting, will last nine weeks and aims to promote awareness of the range of legal advice available through the legal division.
Co-operative Legal Services provides legal advice to its members and customers on will writing, probate and estate administration, conveyancing, employment and personal injury claims.
Eddie Ryan, managing director of Bristol-based Co-operative Legal Services, said: ‘Our 2,000-plus food stores represent a huge untapped market for us.
‘Having now rigorously established our processes and procedures across our full range of services, we are confident this is the right time to promote our offering to a much wider audience.’
